Long Long Time

August 15, 1970 - 53 Years Ago Today: Linda Ronstadt debuted at No. 82 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart with her single, "Long Long Time." This was Ronstadt's third chart entry on the Hot 100 and her first charted single as a solo artist minus The Stone Poneys. The Gary White-penned ballad peaked at No. 25 on October 10, 1970, and as years went by it became an important song to Ronstadt's fans and is revered as one of her best recordings. 

On January 29, 2023 the song was used in an episode of HBO’s hit series, introducing this beautiful song to a whole new generation and putting it at the top of the charts for the first time in over 50 years and the song also gained a whopping 4900% spike on Spotify.
